Report a Problem
Found something wrong? Send an email to [email protected] and tell us which page it is on. Please copy the address of the category page into your message.
What you can report
- A broken or wrong link: the listed site no longer loads, or the link goes somewhere else.
- A site in the wrong category: tell us the better category.
- A wrong or outdated description: the title and description are read from the site's own page once a week. The quickest way to change them is to update the title and the meta description on your own homepage; the directory picks up the change at the next synchronization.
- Removal of your site: if you own a listed site and want it removed, write from an address on that domain or tell us how we can verify that you run it.
- Abuse or a legal concern: content that breaks the law or our Acceptable use policy, including copyright concerns.
Keeping our crawler out
Our crawler, GrokWebsiteBot, reads the robots.txt file of each site. To stop it from fetching your homepage, add a rule for the user agent GrokWebsiteBot (or a rule for all crawlers) that disallows the homepage. Sites that block it are not added at the next synchronization.
What happens next
We review reports and act on them as soon as we can. Changes made to the directory take effect at the next weekly synchronization, or sooner when the problem is serious.
